Graduating university with a BA(hons) in jewellery silversmith/fine art and teaching Art for numerous years, a career change was on the cards after becoming disjointed with the education system. The journey was made into tattooing, transferring many years of fine art experience and picking up a machine to create artwork onto the skin. That was seven years ago and working full time in the tattoo industry has led to my development as an artist whilst being able to transfer a deep understanding of shape and tone, light and dark, landscape and composition and the use of natural reference for realism as well as contemporary ideas on pattern work and black and grey illustrative pieces.  

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy is for the protection of our artists and their investment of time and resources used to prepare for your upcoming appointment. When a cancellation happens without sufficient notice, we are often unable to fill the scheduled block of time with another client, resulting in a loss of income for our artists. 

At Nineten, we are dedicated to making your custom tattoo experience as proficient and streamlined as is possible. Therefore, we ask you to please read our cancellation policy carefully and consider the commitment when booking a tattoo at Nineten tattoo studio.

CANCELLATION RATES 
On booking your appointment or one month prior to your appointment date , you will be required to pay a 50% deposit to secure the booking. Failure to cancel 5 WORKING DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT, using any of the method stated above will result in LOSS OF DEPOSIT

CANCELLATION FEE EXEMPTIONS

It is at the sole discretion of the artist to review the cancellation submission and determine if a cancellation fee will be accrued. We understand we are adults with families, so we understand when difficult situations arise. Providing a valid reason for cancelling does not guarantee any fees will be waived, however, your artist may choose to waive any fees based on the reasons provided – again, at their own discretion. 

RESCHEDULING 
If you are unable to keep your appointment, but would like to reschedule for a later date, we still require a submission of our Cancellation Form to properly notify your artist. Your artist will then correspond, at their earliest convenience, to reschedule your appointment within their availability.   *Note: There may be a considerable duration between your original appointment and your rescheduled appointment (a few months apart, in some cases) as some of our artists fill their schedules far in advance and may not have availability shortly after your initial appointment. Notifying your artist as soon as possible can sometimes assist in rescheduling a sooner date.
